WOW are the days flying by! I am constantly amazed at how fast my life goes by! Wednesday is nearly over!Thursday already tomorrow. JUNE 25th!! My oldest Sara finished school today! GRADE 7.. Yikes...Grade 8 next year, her last year before high school.. will I make it.. with 2 more daughters to go yet he he!
Reflecting back over the past school year, as I approach the "teen years" with my first daughter - we have certainly had a very busy year, plenty of new mom and daughter experiencesthat happened for us to go through together. Life is sure interesting I tell you. I am confident I handled it perfectly I must say! That is all I WILL say for fear she is reading over my shoulder - I will be in big trouble!
I took Monday off and volunteered with my youngest Emma's class, She is in grade1, and we traveled over to the MB museum by noisy school bus, and even saw the show at the planetarium! I had not seen that since I myself was in grade 2. It was narrated by Fred Penner, and really great to see! I think I even learned a thing or two! I think my Emma enjoyed it as much as I did when I was her age!
Today I took the afteroon and volunteered at the school for our grade 5 graduating class.
Sara came along and helped out which was amazing - she was such a huge help!! We handed out cake and juice, and watched their super cute ceremony. This is the 3rd year I have done that for the grade 5 grad, I love watching the kids each year as they leave the school, and at how much they have changed and grown up. Next year it is my Hanna's turn. I know I will be tearing up at that one. I can barely hold it back and it is not even my kids up there the past couple years..! Now that I have had all these reflecting days off I must get myself back to work! Don't get me wrong - I am still working - trust me.. although tonight we cooked up fresh pickerel on Wendy's deck - I told my husband that we should cook it outside because I am so tired of the awful fish frying smell in my house that lasts for 3 days after we cook it! Cooking it outside was the best idea ever!
Back to my working hard, today I received all of the samples I ordered to bring in our new fashion jewelery line for the fall, it is so exciting to do what I do, I just love it so much! I love to decide, and to narrow it down between pieces. We have some really neat new items coming in for the fall season, some GREAT new gift ideas!!! As we get closer I might give you a couple sneak peaks, but we'll see!!
As I look forward I am so excited for the future of Total She, we have so much to do, and still put in place, and it is a huge challenge, but one day I know we will pull it all off!
A big warm welcome to Robin Kalmakoff, She is a brand new gal that joined this week from Prince Albert Sask! Way to go Lisa Brown in Regina!! Keep it up! Now is really the perfect time to get your starter kit - you will have the entire summer to practicee on your friends and family and look at all of the amazing products you will get in your starter kit!!, Plus you'd have a really have a huge head start into the fall! New catalogues in August! Think about it! Just imagine how successful you might be today if you'd been one of the first consultants to join with Tupperware, or Mary Kay! HELOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... we are JUST starting here!!! We need your help to spread our word! Quit thinking about it already and get on our team - I promise you it will be fun, and something you wished you had done long ago!!!
