WOW are the days flying by!  I am constantly amazed at how fast my life goes by!  Wednesday is nearly over!Thursday already tomorrow.  JUNE 25th!!  My oldest Sara finished school today!  GRADE 7.. Yikes...Grade 8 next year, her last year before high school.. will I make it..  with 2 more daughters to go yet  he he!

Reflecting back over the past school year, as I approach the "teen years" with my first daughter - we have certainly had a very busy year, plenty of new mom and daughter experiencesthat happened for us to go through together.  Life is sure interesting I tell you.  I am confident I handled it perfectly I must say!  That is all I WILL say for fear she is reading over my shoulder - I will be in big trouble!

I took Monday off and volunteered with my youngest Emma's class, She is in grade1, and we traveled over to the MB museum by noisy school bus, and even saw the show at the planetarium!  I had not seen that since I myself was in grade 2.  It was narrated by Fred Penner, and really great to see!  I think I even learned a thing or two!  I think my Emma enjoyed it as much as I did when I was her age!

Today I took the afteroon and volunteered at the school for our grade 5 graduating class.

Sara came along and helped out which was amazing - she was such a huge help!!  We handed out cake and juice, and watched their super cute ceremony.  This is the 3rd year I have done that for the grade 5 grad, I love watching the kids each year as they leave the school, and at how much they have changed and grown up.  Next year it is my Hanna's turn.  I know I will be tearing up at that one.  I can barely hold it back and it is not even my kids up there the past couple years..!  Now that I have had all these reflecting days off I must get myself back to work!  Don't get me wrong - I am still working - trust me..  although tonight we cooked up fresh pickerel on Wendy's deck - I told my husband that we should cook it outside because I am so tired of the awful fish frying smell in my house that lasts for 3 days after we cook it!  Cooking it outside was the best idea ever!

Back to my working hard,  today I received all of the samples I ordered to bring in our new fashion jewelery line for the fall, it is so exciting to do what I do, I just love it so much!  I love to decide, and to narrow it down between pieces.  We have some really neat new items coming in for the fall season, some GREAT new gift ideas!!!  As we get closer I might give you a couple sneak peaks, but we'll see!!

As I look forward I am so excited for the future of Total She, we have so much to do, and still put in place, and it is a huge challenge, but one day I know we will pull it all off!

A big warm welcome to Robin Kalmakoff, She is a brand new gal that joined this week from Prince Albert Sask!  Way to go Lisa Brown in Regina!!  Keep it up!  Now is really the perfect time to get your starter kit - you will have the entire summer to practicee on your friends and family and look at all of the amazing products you will get in your starter kit!!, Plus you'd have a really have a huge head start into the fall!  New catalogues in August!  Think about it!  Just imagine how successful you might be today if you'd been one of the first consultants to join with Tupperware, or Mary Kay!  HELOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...  we are JUST starting here!!!  We need your help to spread our word!  Quit thinking about it already and get on our team - I promise you it will be fun, and something you wished you had done long ago!!!

P.S.  Here is a picture of us at the Juvenile Diabetes Walk - Sarah ended up raising over $6,700 and the tally was not even complete yet!  Way to go Sarah!  My children and a few of their friends walked our block last weekend and ended up raising over $250!  Way to go kiddos!  It was a beautiful day, and we ended up visiting the Assiniboine Zoo after our walk - like the 5k was not long enough!

On Sunday - Walk for the CURE - Jr. Diabetes!

It is that time of year again for the Jr Diabetes walk!  This Sunday June 14th.  As many of you know already myself, and my (extended) family always attend the walk to support Sarah McDonald from Kenora who is an amazing daughter of wonderful family friends of ours.  Participant_4025 We spend our time at West Hawk with them every year!  I hope you will consider  making a pledge to Sarah's cause, or even better, tagging along and joining us on Sunday morning for the walk!

You can pledge my family here!

It is really fun and there are always great snacks at the end!!  The year Sarah was the walk ambassador I had a personal goal of 100 of our friends joining us on the walk, and we ended up having like 60!  I was so impressed and excited for Sarah- what a surprise when she saw the amazing team of Winnipeggers out to support her!  I hope to increase our attendance this year so please join us!!

Click here for a link  which I would love for you to have a look at.  It is Sarah's personalized JDRF website - it shares her story,
includes her picture, and if you scroll to the bottom you will see a short video she prepared.

The website allows you to pledge their team directly, and you can also join their team from there as well.   Feel free to pass along the link to others if you like.

If you just want to watch her video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Shbslxiff1g

Registration begins at 9am.  Nadine ( Sarah's mom) would like to take a team photo before the walk, therefore, please meet at the
designated stage area at 9:45 am, so we can capture Team Sarah McDonald 2009!!

We will again wear the red team shirt.  If anybody is joining our team this year for the first time, Nadine ( Sarah's mom )
will have shirts on hand that you can borrow.

If you have any questions, please let me know....otherwise see you on Sunday!

Dance is finished for another year!

Phew, that was really fun, and really exhausting!  Having three children in activities is extremely hectic!  So much so it completely drained my blogging time these past couple months!  Between my 3 daughters - they are involved in probably 30 hours or more worth of activities each week, and guess who their driver is!!

Take a look at the link below:  It is a great sampling of our studios dance pictures via the Rygiel Blog!

Is that the sun?

Wow, time flies, I miss posting!  I am not going to lie, family has kept me extremely busy this month, the new puppy, and...well Total She too!  There has been plenty of dancing and dance festival - which by the way was fantastic.  I am happy that is it all finished now though!  Lots of putting make up on, and taking it off, changing costumes and organizing the next ones.  My girls only missed a couple days of school, but then they got so run down they all got that bad cold going around.  Now I have got the sore throat!  AGH - I cannot escape the coughing germs in my home I guess.

As I mentioned before we got a brand new puppy!  Her name is Bella...  She is actually from the same breeder as Panda, my other dog.  Panda is actually Bella's Auntie which is super cool.  The breeder is a friend of mine, her name is Kerry Nemet, and you can learn a little more about her by clicking the banner!

Catching my breath and catching up!

I think I will back track a little so I can catch up to what we have been up to over here!  It has been a hectic month to say the least!  Last week I had a wonderful opportunity to speak to a really great bunch of women at a Y Neighbours Group!  Thank you so much Cindy for asking me to come and share my story of Total She!  I had a really great time meeting everyone there.  It was a pleasure to meet Tracy, We chatted for a few minutes afterwards and she has signed up with us to become a sales consultant!  I know she will be amazing at this!  She had actually attended a party that a good friend of mine named Leanne had been the hostess for that Wendy did back a little bit ago.  Leanne is actually the drop dead gal on page 49 of the catalog!  Funny how things work out in life!

The Manitoba provincial dance festival has also started, my 2 older daughters have about 14 numbers to perform in over the next week or so, they have had a few already and they all went great!  I will keep you posted on those!

I just logged on to our Total She facebook group and we now have 100 fans!  It is time to do our draw for the $50 Gift Certificate!  If you have not yet signed up to be a fan - get to it, I will be drawing for that this week!

oH AND BY THE WAY... are getting a new puppy... Yep, I know we are crazy - hehe I am so excited!  More on this tomorrow...!

We received our Total She brochures today - YAHOO!  These took so long to arrive I am so happy they are here safe and sound  along with the balance of our packaging for our products!

Stay tuned tomorrow -  I will have some pictures for you!!

Everything is always impossible before it works...

Everything is always impossible before it works. That's what entrepreneurs are all about. Doing what people have told them is impossible.

- R. Humt Greene

I read this today and had to share it.  Boy is it true!  Being an entrepreneur is tough, really tough sometimes,  Life is so busy, and so hectic, and there are always so many unexpected twists and turns.  I always appreciate what I have and am trying to teach my children the same.  It is hard to be everything that you want to be and to be everything everyone wants you to be, and to be everything that everyone needs you to be.  For me my most important job is being there for my kids.  A mom is something that I had wanted to be since I was 5 I think... I will admit I am far from a great mom every day, but when I am on I am on, and I hope my kids will remember me for that some day.  Sometimes it is overwhelming trying to fit in my shoes.  But I hear Adriana's voice - "If it was easy everyone would do it."  Ok - right - I forgot that for a minute.. I replay this Over and over in my head...  and then I realize I can do it.  I just hope people are patient sometimes waiting for me..lol  This post is not much about anything today and I think that it is ok - I bet you are just glad I am back.  I just needed a break, and some fresh thoughts I think.

Happy Monday! - Well almost Tuesday, I've got the candles burning late here tonight!  I have been so busy with personal things and with getting ready for dance events coming up with my girls that I choose to work at night!  I love being self employed for that reason!

This upcoming weekend a few of our sales consultants are going to be set up at the Ultimate Women's Show here in Winnipeg!  They'd love to see you !  Come down to say Hi, and bring your mom or a friend!  It is going to be a wonderful show!  Here is a 2 for 1 admission ticket!  Gotta love that!  Print it off and bring it to the show for your discount and a fun afternoon!

Happy Spring Everyone!

Hello there!  Happy Spring at last!  It is such a great feeling stepping out the door and not having to brace myself for the whipping wind of -40!  No more freezing hands, and frozen toes!  YAHOO!  It was a brezze getting the 5 kids into the van this week for the drive to school!  No jackets, mits, boots.. ahhhhhhhhhh  what a nice break!

Since I have been enjoying the nicer weather so much lately - I am feeling guilty that I have not been blogging as much!  I spent a nice hour or so cleaning up after my Panda Wanda outside - that was a blast.. !  Good thing I love her so much!

We have been working very hard behind the scenes these past couple weeks, we have quite a few things happening that we need to get organized for and all is going really well!  I really wanted to ask what you thought of our new Mompreneur ad?  Katherine did I great job on this ad - It is going into the Mompreneur magazine "Eco" edition in May.   Exciting that we can now show them our "SHEco"  Try as I might I just CANNOT get this image on here, I have tried about 8 times, not sure what the problem is - Sorry!  I will take a look at it and see what I can do!  Have a great Friday and take some time to enjoy Spring!
